Before you begin:
Alright, remember those writing prompts in elementary school? The ones where you got to write about what you did last weekend and how it made you feel? I loved those! Sometimes life can be overwhelming so to sort through life one question at a time can most definitely keep things simple and sort through the external BS.
Daily practice of gratitude, reflecting on joys in your life, can help it become habit to seek the joy. Writing without filter and judgement can often release a lot of emotions and help one tap into their inner strengths and inner truths, tap into YOU.
What do YOU enjoy? What gives YOU joy? What makes you tick? Having a focus, called a drishti in Sanskrit, can help keep focus and bring more joy to one’s life. In yoga, having a unmoving focal point helps keep calm, sturdy and stable in poses, also called asanas. Think of tapping into your inner joys as a focal point/Drishti to lead a more fulfilling life.
Yoga gives me joy and it’s my hope that I can help others unleash and tap into their strength, find movement they enjoy and experience the results in the physical body of overall health and wellness.
All that being said, what brings YOU joy? What makes you feel excited? Heart pumping, jumping for joy, butterflies in the stomach? This prompt is to get the mind in sync with your soul and is an open ended question, keep the list going!
