Life can be chaos, keeping healthy routines routine has helped me keep things simple and on track. A fellow yogi reminded me recently, control the breath and control your mind. So true! We cannot control this chaotic world, BUT we can control how we react and what actions we take. Let’s start with the routine and practice of yoga, tap into mind body and soul on and off the mat by noticing the breath. Slow the breath down, slow the mind down. Inner bliss.
Okay, speaking of healthy routines, did you floss today? haha. I am a registered dental hygienist so you may find my posts sneak in a few dental tips n tricks. Yoga is “flossing the mind” is something that came to mind today when I was meditating and it made me laugh out loud. It’s true though. Flossing bacteria out between your teeth keeps cavities away. Regularly sorting out thoughts within the chaos around us through focusing on physical activity and breathing, brings a solid amount of clarity. Clear out the potential cavities of the mind; negativity, toxic self talk, etc.
Anywho, this is the first of many posts. I’ll bring some food for thought along with a guided journaling prompt. Feel free to share thoughts below so we can get a convo going!
Prompt #1 What cavities of the mind can you floss out of there today? 😉🦷🧘🏼♀️
