Hi there!
My name is Richelle and I really dig yoga. I played competitive basketball for 10+ years, have always enjoyed the endorphins and runners high of a solid workout either cycling, lifting weights, or HITT. I would often see someone in a fancy yoga pose or even just touching their toes and say to myself “that is not my jam” “nope can’t even touch my toes!”. Guess what one of my yoga guru’s taught me so simply put? “You can bend your knees to touch your toes :)” Yoga Chad.
Yoga is for every body and even if it means a breathing technique to help with anxiety, a meditation to help ground you, a prop to bring the floor close to you, or a simple mantra to keep the mind and heart focused.
As I explore my love for yoga further I invite you to join my journey. I am looking for people interested in tapping into their inner strength through movement (asanas), meditation, pranyama (breathing techniques), laughter, and guided journaling. All ages & bodies welcome.
